It relaxes the mind and body.

it reduces the blood pressure.

It reduces the heart rate.

It cools down the body temperature.

It relieves anxiety.

It is also found to reduce angina episodes in patients with coronary artery disease.

HOW TO MEDITATE!!

The easiest way to meditate is BY DOING SHAVASANA which is a pose in the Indian system of Yoga.

How to do “the dead pose”, Shavasana:

Select a quiet comfortable room with a pleasant ambience.

Select a firm comfortable surface like a mat to lie on.

Lie on the mat with face facing upwards.

Wear loose clothing.

Keep your body relaxed with legs spread to shoulder width and palms of hands facing upwards.

Close your eyes.

Breath slowly (Inhale and exhale slowly).

Try to concentrate on your breathing.

Try not to think of any thoughts. Even if there are thoughts, stop and try to concentrate on your breath.

With practice, it should be possible to concentrate on your breath.

DO NOT DOZE OFF!

Do it for 10-15 minutes every days.

It won’t be long when you start feeling refreshed and a sense of quietness within you after you have meditated for 10-15 minutes.

DO IT EVERYDAY IN THE MORNINGS TO MAXIMIXE BENEFIT ON HEALTH!

ENJOY!
